    Great razor!

I've been wanting to switch away from drugstore disposable razors for some time. I finally made the move when I found the Rockwell 6C. I like the adjustable shave since it was one of the issues I had with other non-adjustable safety razors in the past. I'm very happy with my Rockwell 6C and recommend it.

    Great razor

I made the switch from cartridges and don’t plan on switching back.

    Perfect

Delivery was prompt and I'm very satisfied with the product. Feels good in the hand and adjustible settings allow for a smoother shave than my old razor. Which was from a different manufacturer and *broke*. Judging the build quality of the Rockwell, I don't see danger of that here. Looking forward to using it for many years. :)

An included illustrated instruction manual for MY model would have helped!

I can’t discover online or with anything provided how to ‘load’(?) the razor blade for my first time use. So I hope to discover that one day and rate the razor more highly? 😞

The world seems to only helpfully video the easier, more expensive version.

I hate to play the ‘I am female, and lost’ attempt to mitigate public shame, but “I am female, and lost...seeking to mitigate the doubtless, at least inner judgement of all who will follow!” 😂
Sorry I let down the group.

    Super smooth shave

Success! Virtually a perfect shave: no cuts and no burn. Age 61 here, and I live in San Francisco. Due to the skyrocketing costs of cartridge razors, I decided to try and switch over to DE wet shaving. First I tried a competitor razor with a Feather blade. From the onset, I had problems, cuts razor burn...etc. I then tried quite a few other blades to no avail. Now, I've given a go with the Rockwell: I applied a little pre-shave cream, and I used Barbasol for Sensitive skin...like I normally do with the cartridge razor. I started with plate 1, and a Feather. That worked pretty good. For the second pass, I switched to plate 2. That got most of it. Normally, I would stop right there with two passes to avoid getting burned. Experimenting here...I switched to plate 3, and did some final touch-ups, and then applied some alum block: Final result: No cuts and no burns. Much closer that the cartridge ever achieved. This razor should last a lifetime with a little care. Fantastic value!
